UFCW EPC makes donation in solidarity with CUPE NB strikers

November 8, 2021 - Fredericton, NB - On behalf of the Members & Executives of UFCW Canada Locals 864, 1252 & 1288P Eastern Provinces Council, a strike/lockout donation cheque in the amount of $5,000.00 was presented to Stephen Drost, President of CUPE NB (left) by Daniel Smith, President, UFCW Canada Local 1288P (middle) along with Yves Leger, Organizer for UFCW (right). UFCW provided them a meal donation by ordering some meals from Swiss Chalet for the CUPE Executives/Members at the strike headquarters in Fredericton to express our solidarity and support to the thousands of CUPE NB members who have entered their 11th day on strike/lockout.
Wishing them every success in their struggle to win their fight against the Higgs government in reaching a fair deal for all CUPE NB members. United we stand, divided we fall. Stay strong & safe.
