William J. “Bill” Walsh, 1953 – 2023

Holyrood, Nfld. – August 17, 2023 – On August 10, Bill Walsh, a long-time member of IBEW Local 1615 tragically passed in a workplace accident at the Holyrood Terminal Station at the age of 69.  Bill is UFCW Representative Sandra Corbet’s uncle.

Workers have always been at the forefront of the fight for stronger legislation, enforcement, and safer workplaces.  In light of this tragedy, and for all workers who’ve lost their lives or been injured due to their jobs, we must continue this fight.  We all have a role to play to ensure every worker is able to come home safe to their families & friends at the end of the day.
