  • Monday, September 4– Labour Day Parade, car show, free hot dogs, corn, popcorn, cotton candy, chips, pop, juice boxes, prize bags, face painting, bouncy castle, little train rides, rides on an antique fire truck, free swim at Recreaplex and magic show. For adults, there will be entertainment at the NBIP from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Nova Scotia Labour Day Celebrations 2023

On September 7, the Halifax-Dartmouth & District Labour Council (HDDLC) invites you to attend their Labour Day March, Rally, Free BBQ Picnic & Community Concert in Halifax.

Gather at 10:30am (Victoria Park on Spring Garden) and join the march at 11:00am from Victoria Park to the South Commons. The Strait Area Labour Council is having their Labour Day celebration from 2 - 3 pm at the Unifor (formerly CAW) Union Hall, 323 Reeves Street in Port Hawkes-bury.

The Annapolis Valley Labour Council Labour Day Picnic is being held from 11 am - 2 pm at Memorial Park on Park St. in Kentville.

We will have live music, bounce kingdom, dunk tank with prize wheel, face-painting, balloon making, jimmy dogs, chicken and pig roast. PEI Labour Day Celebrations 2023

The PEI Federation of Labour will be hosting it’s 21st annual Labour Day Picnic and Barbecue on Monday, September 4th, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Joseph Ghiz Memorial Park.

Drop by as we celebrate Labour Day 2023! Everyone Welcome. There will be a bouncy castle for kids. Hot dogs, corn, French fries, and more will be served.
