Nominations & Elections for Delegates for the 2018 UFCW International Convention
October 11, 2017 – Membership meetings to nominate delegates to the 2018 UFCW International Convention are being held across the Atlantic Provinces commencing on October 29th. Any member who wishes to nominate themselves or another member of the Local must do so at one of the meetings.

Halifax– September 12, 2017 – UFCW Canada activists were out in full force at Labour Day events across the Atlantic provinces, gathering with family members and community allies at a number of marches, picnics, and parades to honour the past achievements of workers and to celebrate Canada’s labour movement.
UFCW adds to the rainbow at Halifax Pride
Halifax – July 26, 2017 – UFCW Canada activists recently joined the LGBTQI2S community in Halifax, Nova Scotia to celebrate diversity and equality at the Halifax Pride Parade on July 22.

St. John’s, N.L. – April 6, 2017 – More than 100 UFCW Canada activists recently gathered in St. John’s for the UFCW Canada Eastern Provinces Council (EPC) Convention.

Quispamsis, N.B. – November 29, 2016 – Matthew Phillips is one of eighteen UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship winners for 2016.
Currently enrolled in the Engineering program at the University of New Brunswick Saint John, Matthew is a proud UFCW Canada Local 1288P member who works at Atlantic Superstore.
