About UFCW Canada Eastern Provinces Council

The EPC was created when the leadership of three local unions, namely Local 1288P, Local 864, and Local 1252, unanimously voted to form the Eastern Provinces Council (EPC). The reasons were clear back then and are clearer today. Together we are better, stronger and more diversified. It was the right thing to do for the membership and for the organization’s growth plans to grow UFCW Canada from coast to coast to coast.

Lineage Logistics workers with 1288P ratify new contract

UFCW Eastern Provinces Council Local 1288P workers at Lineage Logistics in Moncton, N.B. have come to terms on a new 2-year agreement bringing increased wages, allowances and changes to several health and medical benefits.

UFCW Eastern Provinces Council would like to welcome 87 new members to Local 864 in Nova Scotia following a successful organizing campaign at Eskasoni Health Centre in Eskasoni, Cape Breton.
