Members at Lawtons Drugs – Scotia Square Halifax achieve first collective agreement
May 5, 2015 – Congratulations to UFCW Canada Local 864 members at the Lawtons Drugs location at the Scotia Square in Halifax, and the first-ever Lawtons drugstore to be unionized.
UFCW Marched Against Bill C-51
March 14, 2015 - UFCW Canada- Eastern Provinces Council marched along with protesters on national day of Action Against Bill C-51 in front of Moncton City Hall. More than 100 people joined the rally to speak out against the proposed bill. Many believe that this will hurt the right to peaceful protests.
